Reason for living in Vienna: Alexander was born and raised in Berlin and, like his father, wanted to be an architect, though his father had not succeeded and worked in a factory for most of his life. His parents, being the loving people they are didn’t want the same for their son and worked extra hard to get him everything he wanted, selling nearly everything they own so he could go to the academy of the arts. Fortunately for him after he’d graduated he got a job designing a summer house for a member of the royal family. Not so fortunately for him his design was sabotaged and upon opening the house collapsed with several servants inside (though the commissioner himself had been unable to make the openeing personally due to unforseen circumstances), after which his designs came into question and he was accused of trying to kill the man who had commissioned him, even the blueprints supporting it. Alexander, of course, insists he’s innocent and that his design would never have collapsed like that and that someone had tampered with them and that he’d been set up. Due to the lack of proof, however he decided to flee the country until such a time he’s able to prove his innocence (or at least until they forget, not that he’s expecting that to happen anytime soon) he decided to hide in the place he expects them to look last. Not to mention that he’s rather fond of the architecture in the city.
Notable personality traits: Alexander is a stubborn and straight forward young man who’s not afraid to speak his mind (sometimes it’s very loudly and with his fists-- /shot), regardless of the situation and likes to think of himself as being fair. Like most people raised in a working class background he’s quite friendly and will do his best to help someone in need. He can get rather bitter about being set up in such a way, but generally won’t bring it up. He’s also not the brightest tool in the shed and quite gullible, but when he realises you’re trying to trick him, don’t be too surprised when you tries to punch you in the face due to his fairly short temper.
